Ipaja Community Link's Programme for Orphans and Vulnerable Children

In these videos, children participating in Ipaja Community Link's (ICL's) programme for Orphans and Vulnerable Children during the school holidays talk about themselves and what they do at the programme.

This is the first of a few interviews that I did during a visit to the programme on Monday 24th of August . When I got to ICL, the the children were icing a cake that they had made the week before. They were clearly having a lot of fun even though there is limited space at the project and there were about 15 of them taking it in turns to do a little bit of icing on the ten inch square cake.

While the interviews were going on there was a lot of noisy play and discussion in the project's other room but you can still hear most of what children have to say and they are worth listening to.

The project for Orphans and Vulnerable Children is just one of Ipaja Community Link's strategies for tackling poverty in Ipaja. You can read about Ipaja Community Link on the project blog at http://ipajacommunitylink.blogspot.com/ .

Ipaja Community Link is supported in turn by Development Impact For Nigeria (DIFN) which is a UK based Nigerian led development organisation.
